Where to sign

At a Greek consulate

The consulate prepares the power of attorney in Greek. It can be used in Greece straight away, with no Apostille and no translation. You need an appointment and your passport.

Before a notary where you live

Faster to book in many countries. The signed document then needs a Hague Apostille, or consular legalisation if your country is outside the Hague Convention, followed by a certified Greek translation. We arrange the translation.

Online, if you already have TAXISnet

For many tax and public-service tasks you can instead authorise the accountant from your own myAADE or gov.gr account in a few minutes. Property, inheritance and court matters still need a notarial power of attorney.
