Cross-border estate coordination

Succession and Inheritance Command Centre

We organise the facts, documents, deadlines and professional workstreams without deciding whether an inheritance should be accepted, renounced or structured in a particular way. Those legal and tax decisions remain with the appointed advisers and heirs.

Suitable clients

Who is this engagement designed for?

Control principles

The engagement is built around explicit authority.

Potential renunciation and tax deadlines are escalated immediately for legal advice

No heir is treated as having made a legal election through administrative correspondence

Foreign and Greek advisers receive the same current asset and document schedule

Original civil-status and testamentary documents are tracked through agreed custody routes

Workstreams and evidence

Every workstream has a responsible owner and usable output.

Estate fact and deadline map

We record deaths, relationships, wills, known assets, liabilities, prior acts and jurisdictions, then direct legal questions to the correct lawyer before irreversible steps.

Outputs

Cross-border evidence

Civil-status, court, probate and tax documents are routed through the required issue, certification, Apostille or legalisation, translation and delivery sequence.

Outputs

Greek implementation

The appointed professionals handle legal elections, tax filings, notarial acts and registrations. We coordinate dependencies and return a consolidated status to the family.

  3. Freeze one verified family, asset and document schedule.
  4. Sequence foreign evidence, Greek tax and notarial requirements.
  5. Record each heir decision only after professional advice and valid execution.

Useful answers

Frequently asked questions

Can you calculate my inheritance-renunciation deadline?

No. We can assemble the dates and evidence, but a Greek lawyer must calculate and advise on any deadline because residence, knowledge, representation, court acts and other facts can affect the analysis.

Can all heirs use the same lawyer?

Only if the lawyer confirms there is no conflict and joint representation is appropriate. Separate advice may be necessary where heirs have different interests or intended decisions.

Will I need to travel to Greece?

Some matters can proceed through properly authenticated authority, but the lawyer and notary must confirm the acceptable form and whether any personal act is required.
